NFA-Incident Safety Officer Class- @ Huddleston Fire Department in Bedford County. November 8, 2008 from 8am till 4pm and November 9, 2008 from 8am till 1pm. The program examines the safety of the officer’s role in emergency situations. Focus will be on operation within the ICS. Firefighter I cert is required to take this class. NFA Leadership I- December 6-7, 2008 Stewartsville-Chamblissburg Fire Co. Register @ www.vafire.com 8:00am-4:00pm Saturday, 8:00am-3:00pm Sunday. This course presents the company officer with the basic leadership skills and tools needed to perform effectively in the fire service environment. You must be certified as Firefighter I to receive a certificate of training. Pre-registration is required. |
